A Growing Hum

Inspired by the dynamics of dominance and predation in the natural world, A Growing Hum uses an animalistic movement style to explore these relationships through dance. We see a predator and the dominant individual within a different species come into contact with more submissive creatures before they find themselves face to face with each other. The upbeat and layered music of Richmond, VA-based band Manatree scores this strange and immersive ballet.
