Uncertain Growth

Uncertain Growth is a tightly wound ballet exploring the feelings of dissonance that emerge from the experience of systems which we do not choose for ourselves but nonetheless exist within. It is through the continual recognition of these systems as constructs that gives one the chance to imagine an alternative. The piece contains three movements, each set to an increasingly claustrophobic version of Eubie Blake’s 1921 standard, Baltimore Buzz, edited by the choreographer.
